Singing Bowl Lady
Sandra P. Conroy
March 28, 1956 - June 27, 2026
Sandra Paula Denton Conroy was born March 28th 1956 in Memphis Tennessee and spent her formative years in Texas. Later she went on to live in several different states before settling in New Jersey to raise her family. She was known for her silly sense of humor and bombastic cackle. While in Jersey she began playing the crystal singing bowls, eventually playing such venues as Yankee Stadium and the UN.
Once her kids were grown she took her talents back to Texas. There she became Austin's own Singing Bowl Lady, playing SXSW and the original ACL stage to name a few. She provided soothing sound meditation to so many people and will be remembered in the community for her dedication to her work.
Sandee passed away June 27th 2026. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karah; and is survived by her daughter Arielle, her sons Tymon and Trey, and granddaughter Phoebe.
Sandee was a joyful light to those who knew her. She believed we were all full of infinite possibilities. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.
